Having never replaced a turbo, I don't know if this is normal. It's a brand new 16T, and it feels like it has as much side-play as my old turbo. I haven't pulled my old one yet, so I can't exactly compare them, but it feels the same. Should there be any side-play at all in a new turbo? I didn't think there would be.
