posco 67 here.

Just about to buy a 1999 S70 GLT with 123K miles on it.

Have driven it for a few days. The main concern so far is the stopping distance.

The pedal feels normal as compared to other cars, it just does not seem to stop as quick as i think it should. I did notice a low pitch whine when sitting still with foot on brake at a traffic light. Booster maybe?

Any other things to consider on this model?
It has had the recall on the throttle body done back in 2007.

Thanks

Try to plug vac. line to booster. pedal should be hard. Next if rotors are glazed ,will be hard to stop.To correst try sanding rotors & pads. Best is to machine rotors,if possible, & replace pads......

Hello, just joined forum. My Vovo is an '84 240 wagon with an auto tranny. Just less than 170,000 miles. I look forward to asking questions and getting answers, as well as learning from the questions/answers of the rest of you here.
