I recently bought a 2005 XC90 2.5t with 116k miles. My wife loves the truck but I am a little worried about this funny shift from 4th gear to 5th. The RPM's drop lower than in other shifts and when it down shifts back to 4th you can feel it alot more than in other downshifts. My local dealer has told me this is a common thing with XC90's. Is it?
Also, I need a key/fob/programming and an alarm siren. The dealer has quoted me $1100 for the the key and siren. Is there anyway I can get atleast the key for cheaper? I have searched all over this forum and have found nothing other than paying the dealer $500 for the key. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
