Forgot to mention that the radio does not turn down the volume anymore

Park assist not work after trailer wiring inst.
Hello all!
I have a xc90 2004 with park assist. Today I had Uhaul install a hitch
With wiring. Now the park assist does not work.
The technician told my wife that the wires for our model had all been
Recalled....but that he had something in the shop that would work
Now the park assist beeps sometimes when you put it in reverse with nothing
Behind you yet...... Did he damage something.... It took two trips to Uhaul
And and a total of 5 hours to install a bolt on hitch
I have to believe that they installed the wrong wiring just to get us out of there
