Hi folks! I'd be really grateful to hear suggestions as to how I'd eliminate drive train vibration on takeoff, and low frequency rumble on deceleration, in my 88 740 GLE automatic wagon, formerly turbo, now normally aspirated B23. I've replaced everything in and supporting the driveshaft. The latter deep wawawa noise transfering into the body on deceleration below 2500 rpm is most wearing and frustrating. Has anyone run into this issue? I have spent two years rebuilding everything in this car with a Volvo mechanic friend (with 40 years experience!), and we're both quite baffled. Cheers! John R-A
