recently acquired a 1988 245 wagon...
Hey there everyone, I just got a 1988 Volvo 245 Wagon, automatic with roughly 180k miles.
I have never owned a Volvo before and was wondering, what maintenance should I preform before it becomes my daily driver? (atleast 60 miles/day)
I am not terrible with cars, usually work on my own, but I have always had big old Chevys, so this is pretty new to me. I wold like to make sure everything is right before I start to put the miles on her, previous owner didn't do anything other than oil changes from what I can tell.
Any quirks, or any known "issues" I should check on?
For sure doing:
Oil & filter change with 10-40 dino
new thermostat
want to flush cooling system (still need to research best method)
replace flame trap
