205 65 15 snow tires in S40

Hi,

So I had the Bridgestone Blizak tires mounted onto the factory Al wheels and installed on my S40 last week. They fit and look good but the rear tires rub when I hit a big bump. I think that it is because the rear struts and springs need to be replaced. I'm going to have that work done next month. They raised the car some and fill the wheel nicely.

We had a big snow storm this past weekend and the tires made my car handle the snow and ice very well. There is no comparison between the snow tires and my 16" all season tires.

O.K. here is the latest. The 205 65 15 tires are too tall for the S40. Even after I had the rear suspension rebuilt with factory parts the tires still rub when I hit bumps and when I have passengers in my car. The Blizak tires have great traction on the snow and ice so I am planning to replace the 205 65 with the 205 60 for next winter. The extra height helps to drive out of snowed in parking spots in the city (I live in Boston and have to park on the street).
