You should be able to pick these up at a local automotive retail location as well. Have you tried searching on your local craigslist?

you have to be careful with aftermarket scan tools, some will not pull ALL codes from volvos because they are networked cars. they will not communicate. the one sulley007 looked up should be ok, however you cant run any tests.
