Recently purchased a yellow T-5R and am in the process of refurbishing and modifying it. Vehicle was track raced and unfortunately damaged by its first owner; seller I purchased it from was in process of trying to restore it to its original condition, found it was going to be too costly, and sold it to me. In order to cut costs he placed 4 Volvo Columba's from a 1995 Volvo 850 turbo, which he had powdercoated in anthracite gray to resemble the vehicle's original 17" Titans, which are considerably more expensive. I have one yellow T-5R already in nearly original condition, and have thus decided to return this vehicle to it's "racing" heritage. As the Columba's are not the best wheel option for racing, I am installing a set of 17" Mille Miglia racing rims and kumho tires off my street T-5R, replacing them with a set of Titans I've found, and therefore have no use for the Columbas at this time.

They really look great though; the anthracite colored powdercoating is very popular on these wheels, and gives this car (and would any other 850 sedan/wgn) a nice, slick "dark" look as opposed to the traditional alloys. There are no scars, scrapes or curb rash on any of the four wheels. There is a very slight scuff along the very outer edge of the right rear wheel, but it's so faint I have difficulty getting anyone to notice it. The front tires are Goodyear Eagles (205/55 R16 89H), with tread at about 90%. The rears are Goodyear Assurance (same specs) with only 500 miles of wear. I have receipts showing I paid over $300.00 for the two rear tires, mounted and balanced, just a few weeks ago.

Thanks. You wouldn't believe the nasty insulting responses I got on Swedespeed concerning my asking price. Geez. I thought it was forum for people with something in common, not a place where postings are fodder for obviously mean or unhappy people to profess their "volvo" prowess by belittling other members. I would never. I might think it, but never would I send a nasty message to someone for any reason. Again, thanks! I'd really take any reasonable offer, but I didn't want to ask too low, as then I'd get bottom feeder-type offers. Take care.

Sorry to hear about that! I agree a forum should be open to everyone and hey, they are worth what someone is willing to pay for them! If you can't say anything nice then maybe don't say anything at all?!
