Hi everyone. Ive recently purchased a V40 1.9d 99T. She uses a bit more fuel than my old 206 about 60 miles to 10 pounds worth of fuel round town, but what a difference in the drive. well impressed!!. Any way my only problem is she kicks a bit of gray smoke out on start and acceleration, even when warmed up i cant see the fumes but she just stinks of diesel smoke even through the heaters. any ideas what this could be bare in mind she has just clocked 266000 miles mostly motorway miles by previous owner.
