Hi, I'm new to this posting site. I have a problem with my 750 volvo -- the door locks sometimes spontaneously lock while it is parked. This only started happening recently. The rear lights flash and the doors lock. I do not use a key fob, only the regular, manual key. Any thoughts on what is causing this to lock? It happens at my home, at my daughter's school and last week, in the parking lot of the local mall.

Yes, we are still experiencing the spontaneous door locking problem. We can't seem to figure out a problem. It's not the key fobs going haywire because we don't use them (they are in a drawer at home), we only use the manual keys

is it a 740/760 or an 850? no such thing as a 750. the 740's have a really big door lock relay in behind the ash tray. mine would spaz out locking & unlocking. I would pull the ash tray out and reach in and find the spazing door lock relay and wiggle it and it would stop. Obviously the DL relay was bad. NOW, if you have a newer style (850 +) the most likely culprit is either the DL module is going bad, or there is a dissarm switch attached to the driver's door lock inside the door panel. If that switch goes on the fritz, it will accurate the door locks.
