I have a '06 S80 T5, w/76K and a '98 V70 w/176K.
The S80 has the original timing belt.
The V70 had its belt changed at 140K.
Both are parked outside 100% of the time here in New Hampshire.
I'm now being told that, because I park them outside they both need to be replaced. That they age much faster because of the exposure.
Doesn't make any sense to me. Anybody heard of this?
