Can anybody help me? My 98 XC70 w/165,000. miles has decided it doesn't want to shift after warming up. Trans works fine till it warms up and then only will run in 3rd gear. I have changed the engine speed sensor as the diagnostic said but it hasn't changed a thing. Has anyone had an similiar experience?

Alfspeed - welcome to the forum! What issues are you experiencing?

Alfspeed, you can attempt a TCM software update and that may or may not buy you a couple of weeks. After that, you can replace the valve body which may buy you a little more time. All this will be money down the drain until you completely replace your transmission. Sorry about the bad news, but it's true.
