hi i am new to volvo's my wife has a 2000 v40 and its getting to be time for a new turbo, what is the stock model and are there any other models that are a easy bolt on for a little extra power later on.

I would recommend keeping it close to stock. You will end up breaking other components and would need to do additional mods to get noticeable performance improvements.

car comes wit a td04 12t which is TINNNNY!! i swapd in a td04L 14t its a 40hp upgrade from the stock turbo but ecu tunning will be needed bc the wastegate has a bigger spring
