I want to temporary disconnect the passenger airbag so that a child seat can be fitted sometimes. I've inserted a relay in the + (green) wire near the passenger airbag (85 in the Haynes Manual). Now with the relay closed the SRS warning light is on? The green and white wire to the airbag were in a sleeve which I cut into to get to them, this sleeve appears as a dotted line in the manual. Is the sleeve conductive in some way to detect a break in it which is causing the SRS warning light to come on?

I've now removed the relay and reconnected the original wiring but the SRS warning light remains on. Anyone know if the Volvo diagnostic tool resets the SRS warning light?
