2003 V70 making humming sound from engine. Took it in for repair - timing belt, water pump and belt replaced - cost $1050 (plus car rental for two days - $160...)....
Picked up car - still making the same noise - in fact, it might be louder. Noise accelerates as car [COLOR=blue ! important]accelerates[/COLOR]. Stops at about 40 mph. Is now making noise when you decelerate as well.
Any ideas what it could be?

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this noise? I spent alot of money and the noise seems to be getting worse.

Power Steering Pump

went back to shop - now told it's the power steering pump and not to worry. - does that seem ok?
Something is leaking - looks like oil - several spots on driveway.
