Hello,

We had our two Volvo Penta 71B engines this past winter sent out to be re-built. After the re-build and re-installation on our tour boat, we now find they are now each using a litre of oil, after a days operation. What could have been done or not done in the re-build to create this new issue with the Volvo Penta's?

Please help

I would say there was not any cross thatching done on the cylinders or no new rings and liners put in the block
