I have spent the last year rebuilding my Volvo s70 1999 GLT 150,000 miles. I have replaced almost everything. I do have one concern regarding a rattling noise which can be heard more when there is a load on the engine when cooling fans come on. Are shifting the car into gear which would be under load again. The noise sounded like it was coming from steering pump. Replaced with new power steering pump but the noise is still there. The noise sounds more like it is coming from a fuel injector near that area of the engine. Any had this problem and figured it out? By the way it is not the normal lifter noise plus the head was totally rebuilt, new turbo, all new pulley, all suspension, drive axles, hub bearing, timing belt and pulley/tensioner, water pump, new transmission etc. The only thing that I have not done yet is the coil packs.
