Volvo Introduces Subscription Service for XC40

When the 2019 Volvo XC40 is introduced, it will be the first Volvo in America available through Care by Volvo.
The subscription service will allow you to drive a Volvo for 24 months for $600 per month.
'Care by Volvo takes the guesswork out of car ownership, covering insurance, service, maintenance and basically everything except gas,' said Anders Gustafsson, CEO of Volvo Car USA.
A limited number of well-equipped XC40s will be available at launch for that price. With no down payment needed, the service is being advertised as 'easy as having a cell phone.'
During your 24-month subscription, Volvo will take care of regular maintenance, wear and tear, and tire and wheel protection. The service allows you 15,000 miles per year.
If you should find 24-months to be an inconceivably long period of time—this is after all aimed at millennials—there is an option to sign up for another 24-month agreement in a different car after just 12 months.
