lower control arm and ball joint replacement
i've been working on my '02 S60. replaced the drivers side LCA and ball joint with no issues. Raised the passenger side and disconnected caliper, ABS sensor, and tie rod. After disconnecting the tie rod, the hub turns hard left or hard right, but does not just "hang in pace" like the drivers side did. Has anyone else seen this situation? I am suspicious that it has something to do with only raising one side of the car on jackstands and leaving the other grounded. Seems like the strut wants to push out and thus turns the hub. I am also suspicious that it is related to the sway bar and end link, which seem to maybe be pressuring the strut. Comments are greatly appreciated.
