1999 Volvo s80 funky issues :)

Hey y'all! So, my s80 t6 has 160k, and i love it, but i may seem that death will part us. Lately, while accelerating in first gear right after being stopping at a stop sign/light, the car will shudder violently. Its occasional. Also, while a cruising speed, sometimes when I step on the gas, its like the car doesnt want to accelerate. Acceleration will sound rough, and not be peppy. Like it reluctant to go faster, even tho I am going 60mph. ANy ideas? I was thinking ECM?

Occasionally a cam shaft sensor code gets thrown, but not often

You may have more than one issue. How's the idle? Is it erratic?

Idling is fine. Sometimes jumpy, esp. when cold.

Still sounds like the module to me. Wont necessarily throw a code until gets really bad. has it ever been replaced under warranty? is the car less than 10 years old?

Its a 1999, I dont think it has ever been. It has 160k...so idk. Also, if there is a recall, would dealers still replace things? Or do you have to be the original owner?

The etm warranty is 200K miles and 10 years. You are past that. You do not have to be the original owner. Probably best to have the dealer check the etm. It's about the right amount of time and miles
