Might get a 2000 V70 GLT anything I should know?

I might be coming up on a 2000 Volvo V70 GLT turbo tomorrow. The vehicle has 144,000 miles with an automatic transmission. Im trading a van I inherited and do not need. Anything I should look for or be concerned about at that mileage. I am a volkswagen mechanic and do not really know much about these vehicles other than they are timing belt engines and Id like to keep it because i love volvo wagens and havent had a chance to own one.

Appreciate the info!

I just bought a 98 V70 AWD with 237000 on the clock and if it is maintained as it should be with absolutely NOTHING deferred it will last indefinitely. My two previous Volvo's each past a quarter million under my watch and when sold were solid as a rock. They were '71 144 and a '72 164. Maintenance records are a must and even if the can be produced have it checked by a TRAINED Volvo mechanic as a thorough inspection is also important.

Do it, you’ll be surprised by the car.
As far as what to check, do a vacuum test to check the PCV system by removing the oil filler cap with engine running and putting a rubber glove over the hole. The glove should suck in slightly. Other than that, just the usual things you check on a 19 year old car, rotted hoses, timing belt done in the last ten years/80,000 miles, motor mounts, oil in the coolant, etc..
